Happy Birthday to me!!
Last weekend Nic, Eric and I went to Fred Thomas Resort in Birchwood WI with Angie, Steve and Alison for a fall getaway. It was a little past peak up there and a lot of leaves had blown away because of the high winds, but it was still beautiful. The kids seemed to enjoy each others company and played really well together. Nothing is more entertaining these days then watching two little ones chase each other around the room laughing like crazy. Sunday morning I woke up a bit crabby from lack of sleep (Nic didn't sleep too well Sat night) but I tried to be the happy birthday girl anyway. 34 kinda snuck up on me. Where does the time go? Since I had some stuff to do Sunday night after we got home, Eric is going to take me out for dinner tonight at a new Mexican restaurant in Albertville. I hope it's yummy!Update: Eric had to work late yesterday so we never made it to the restaurant. But we are going to try again later in the week. Plus I have my b-day celebration this coming Sunday with Eric's family so my big day just keeps going and going and going..............
