Casperson Family Adventures

I know we did more, but I am tired of typing!!

What a busy bunch of Caspersons we have been! Nicolas turned 3 on September 28th. I still can not believe he is 3. Where did the time go? My little baby is growing up! Here is a cute pic of him blowing out his candle at his b-day party on September 20th. It was a Hot Wheels party though the cake was a Costco balloon cake. Because Costco cakes are awesome. Enough said.

We took Nicolas to the State Fair this year. We pretty much spent the entire time on Machinery Hill. He loved climbing on the tractors and ATVs and checking out all the new cars. On the way home we got pulled over by a cop. Oops. Thankfully, the officer was really nice and Eric didn't get a ticket. But Nic thought it was pretty cool his dad got pulled over.

Eric and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary on September 6th! We had a wonderful time. I think we need to have more date nights, because it was really fun. We dropped the boy off at Grandma and Grandpa Casperson's house and went to a movie (The Dark Knight, in IMAX!) and dinner at Pittsburgh Blue. I am still dreaming about the bacon wrapped scallops we had as an appetizer. SO good. If you go there, I highly recommend them!

Eric, Nic and I spent Labor Day weekend camping at Interstate State Park in Taylors Falls. We went on a paddleboat ride along the river and hiked the trails. We had a blast! Nic loves camping. It is probably one of his most favorite things to do. He will tell anyone who is listening (or not listening for that matter) all about his camper. :)

Football season is here again! And that means VIKINGS GAMES. We have new seats this year and they rock. Here is a pic I took from our seats at the Carolina game. When we were at the Colts game the week prior, Peyton Manning was THIS CLOSE to us. Unfortuntely I forgot my camera that day so all I have are memories. Oh well.

This August we had a paver patio installed in our backyard and we love it so much! We spend a lot of time in our backyard now, which is nice. For Christmas last year, Eric bought me a fire bowl, so we have had a few night time fires.

We also had a wonderful visit with Erik, Amy and Simon this August! They spent a night at our house and we took Simon to the park, went to the beach, and celebrated my Dad's birthday with Thai food and red velvet cake. It was so nice to see them and to spend some time with Simon. He is getting so big! Here are some cute pics from that weekend!
