Mmmm.......plants!

Today I made Nicolas a chicken, mushroom & spinach pizza for supper. Don't get all excited, it was only a frozen one. I'm not that talented. He had been eating for a while and then he says, "Mommy, can I have some more of that pizza with plants on it?" Took me a while to figure out what the heck he meant. OH, the SPINACH! Yes, it DID look like there were plants on his pizza. I guess I have been feeding him too many pepperoni pies. So funny!

Heaven is in Wisconsin

Last Friday we headed over to Webster, WI with our friends Angie, Steve & their daughter Alison for a week long vacation at a cabin we rented. But this was not your ordinary rental. This was a big beautiful lakehome with everything you could want in it. It was so nice! The first few nights we were there the satellite dish wasn't working (no Olympics opening ceremony for us!) but we barely noticed. The weather was great, the firepit was blazing and the smores were aplenty. Here are some pics to enjoy. Can't wait to go back next year!

Seriously? This sucks.

How do you forget that your child is in the car with you?? I mean, I am CONSTANTLY being asked questions, sung to, cried at, asked over and over to "PLEASE PLAY 'MAYBE I'M THE ONE' AGAIN" etc, etc. Even if he is sleeping I know he is there. This breaks my heart and I HATE seeing stories about this over and over again.

Uugh.

Maybe I'm the One

This is Nic's new favorite song. I kid you not, it has to be on repeat in the car. He calls it "Maybe I'm the one", as in "Mommy, play Maybe I'm the One again!!!" It's totally my fault. :)
