A nickel for your thoughts?
Today I taught Nic what different coins are called. Quarter, dime, nickel and penny. So I hold up a nickel and ask him, "What is this called?" And he answers, "A Nicolas!" I love that kid.

Nic and I were heading into a store today (ok, fine, it was the liquor store! Mama needs some wine tonight!) and directly next door to it is a vet clinic. As Nic and I were walking through the parking lot, I could see a man, a woman (the dogs parents I believe) and two vet techs very carefully pick up an obviously hurting and shaky black lab and set it carefully onto a stretcher. I am not sure what was wrong with the poor dog but the sight of this made me break into tears. It's hard to have a sick or hurting pet. It is horrible and sad and I hope their dog is ok.
So, I pulled into a parking lot the other day. Got a nice close spot. From the backseat Nic says "That's rockstar parking!" he he he
Here is the video of Nic running the bases at the Twins Game. It is a little shaky, so vomiters beware.
