Back from Seattle!

Mom and I got back from Seattle on Tuesday afternoon. We had a wonderful time! It was so nice to meet little Simon and hold him finally! He is such a little cutie, I forgot how small newborn babies are. We stayed at the Hotel Nexus and they had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I want one in my house today!! Amy and Erik took us to Pike Place market, the Arboretum, the Space Needle and some cool cafes for brunch. It was just nice to spend time with family, play some cards, eat some yummy meals (you are a great cook Erik!) and relax.

Yippee!!

My Mom and I leave Friday for Seattle! I can't wait to meet little Simon and give him hugs and smooches! Here is a new family pic of Amy, Erik and Simon. You can see that Simon wasn't so crazy about getting his picture taken. I guess he was still hungry. He's all about the boob right now! :)

Sugar Rush

Nicolas and I made cookies today. It was quite the hilarious (and messy) activity. It was also the first time I ever let him break an egg into a bowl. I gave him an egg, he dropped it whole into the bowl and it broke. He LAUGHED so hard. Then he asked for another one. And another one. By the 5th egg he was becoming an old pro. Maybe that can be a rainy day activity for us one day. Buy a few cartons of eggs and just let him go at it. Then we can make a super big omelet. :)
